Hi Dave, > What is the status of the "Geography and Spatial Information" standard > vocabulary [1]? I guess GeoVocab is "optional" as stated in our charter, point 5. [1] Nevertheless, as you can see in our wiki here [2], there are some inputs where I do contribute to some initial pointers, as I am really interested in this domain. Phil mentioned GeoVocab and there is a new version available after the GeoVocamp held in Madrid [3] (credits to Boris and OEG for the good organisation), and one of the outcome was the so-called "NeoGeo spec-Madrid Edition [4]. We are in the testing phase and are planning to use this vocab for representing Geo Data in the french context. > Is there active work on this? If so who are the editors? > > Or is the intention to satisfy this by the rather more narrowly scoped > ISA core-location vocabulary? > I thinks it will be great if we decide to have an active work on this as GeoData are connected to many other vocabs (people, organization, places, etc..)
