Dear all (and sorry for cross posting), as follows an announcement for a webinar on 15 September 2011, 04.00pm CEST (8:00 am, Mountain Daylight Time (Denver, GMT-06:00) - organised by NREL(1) and REEEP(2) on: CLEAN - Linked Open Data (LOD) Webinar - also showing their best practise examples using LOD principles & technologies: OpenEI(3) and reegle.info(4): ------------------------- Linking Open Data to Support Low Carbon Development As an outcome of the Climate Knowledge Brokers Workshop (http://cdkn.org/event/climate-and-development-knowledge-brokers-workshop/) held in June 2011, REEEP and CLEAN/NREL are leading a project to educate climate-related database and portal managers on the use and benefits of Linked Open Data (LOD) for seamless integration of web resources. Through integrating climate-related databases, organizations can more easily share and leverage available resources, avoid of duplication of effort and help to catalyze low carbon development. We will kick off this project with a webinar on September 15, 2011 at 16:00 CET.
