Hey, I just skimmed the editor's draft for "Best Practices for Publishing Linked Data" at https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/gld/raw-file/default/bp/index.html . Thanks for your efforts on putting together such a document! However, a topic that seems to be missing (and that I think is important for such a document), is how to actually link data. 1) I don't find any explanation of what it is that makes data "linked". There is no proper introduction of what a link is in the given context. Actually, the noun "link" (or "data link") doesn't appear a single time in the whole document. 2) The document should contain a section on how to create data links (within an organization's dataset and, more importantly, to data from other sources). BTW, originally, I sent this mail to public-gld-wg@w3.org which is the address given in the "Status of This Document" section. Since, I'm not in the group, the mail ended up in the moderator's mailbox. I propose to change the address for public comments given in the document to public-gld-comments@w3.org Best, Olaf
