I've just found and joined 'Places' CG http://www.w3.org/community/places/
And would like to shortly check how it relates to http://www.w3.org/community/geosemweb/

Last week I have found: http://www.w3.org/TR/poi-core/ (cc: editor) which seams relevant to work of both groups :)
