Hi all, FYI, the IETF GEOPRIV working group is meeting this week at the Spring IETF meeting in San Francisco. A significant part of the agenda will be devoted to location privacy: <http://tools.ietf.org/wg/geopriv/agenda> It would be great if some folks from this group could attend, either virtually or in person. The GEOPRIV meeting is on Thursday morning (26 March 2009), from 09:00-11:30 PDT (16:00-18:30 UTC). There are three ways to participate: 1. In person The IETF meeting is at the Hilton San Francisco, near Union Square: <http://www.ietf.org/meetings/74/hotels.html> The GEOPRIV meeting will be in the Continental 4 room. 2. Jabber/XMPP chat The meeting will be transcribed in close to real time in a dedicated Jabber chat room, <xmpp:geopriv@jabber.ietf.org>. (This is the best way to provide feedback to the room; it works well alongside the audio streaming.) 3. Audio Streaming The audio from the microphones in the room (where people are supposed to make comments) will be streamed over the Internet at the following URI: <http://feed.verilan.com:8000/continental_4.m3u> I apologize for the somewhat late notice, but I hope some folks from this list can make it. Please let me know if I can help out in any way. Thanks, --Richard
