Hi Tom:

Better than defining a subproperty for http://auto.schema.org/emissionsCO2 seems adding QuantitativeValue to the range; you can then use either the "name" property or schema:valueReference to point to a test protocol or standard. 

As for http://auto.schema.org/acrissCode: Cross-reference tables etc. could be published as complemented Linked Open Data datasets but are IMO outside the scope of http://auto.schema.org/. There might also be copyright issues.
