W3C Games Group - Call next Tuesday Feb 9th

Greetings Games Community Group!

I hope 2021 is going well for you so far! Next week we have our next Games
Group meeting on Tuesday February 9th 08:00 UTC.

Yes, this is a different time to usual. Why? Because all our previous calls
have only been EMEA+AMER friendly and we’d like to have a session that
accommodates APAC this time. Depending on the locations of the speakers, we
may experiment with different times again in the future.

We’ve prepared an agenda (order not yet determined):

   -

Dialing in from China, Alicia Nie from Tencent will be speaking about
their H5 ES runtime which enables HTML5 games to be embedded in other apps
   (10 min talk + 5 min Q/A)
   -

Andre Bandarra *from Google* will present about WebViews, Chrome Custom
Tabs and Trusted Web Activities in relation to games (10 min talk + 5 min
   Q/A)
   -

*Jacob Clark* *from the BBC* will speak about their portable HTML5
framework which runs on the open web and in Cordova apps (10 min talk + 5
   min Q/A)
   -

An open discussion for any other topics (15 min)

Call details:

We’ll connect with WebEx this time. The meeting login information was sent
to the internal mailing-list. Archived version at:

Looking forward to seeing you all!
