Hi Raman, > Ah, I'm glad we continue to remain good at foreseeing all kinds > of unforeseen problems and dealing with them;-) He he. :) As it happens, we did come up with a way that we could retain the use of prefixed names, even if they weren't supported at the DOM level; after all, there is no reason that the XML Events spec has to faithfully pass all values through to the events API, unaltered. But in the end we thought it was best to keep it simple, at least until the direction the DOM was taking was clearer.
