Dear Forms WG, Test 6.1.6.a tests the constraint model item property. However, the expression in the constraint does not produce the desired results expressed in the test without adding an invocation of the number() function to ensure numeric comparison. We do not know how all other implementations could pass this test without amending that expression, so we suspect this is what happened and that the revision simply hasn't made it back to the core W3C test suite. It is the case for Ubiquity XForms that our reported pass of this test is based on a revised test in our test framework, which is attached here for reference in amending the W3C test suite.
