According to the W3C news, the Enabling Read Access for Web Resources WD http://www.w3.org/TR/access-control/ has been updated. We should take a look at it and see if any changes are necessary in either XForms or in this WD to make the two work together. The WD mentions XHR but not XForms, so at a minimum we should get that omission corrected. http://www.w3.org/News/2007#item204 2007-10-01: The Web Application Formats Working Group released an updated Working Draft of Enabling Read Access for Web Resources. Sandbox restrictions on cross-site access to browsers can be relaxed selectively with this mechanism. An HTTP header or XML processing instruction or both can indicate that read access is allowed.
