1) The working group awaits a response to this email about the charters: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-forms/2007Jul/0021.html Also, it seems a dependency on the XHTML2 WG is missing from the charter. 2) The Forms Joint Task Force participants are Sebastian Schnitzenbaumer (lead) Mark Birbeck Nick van Den Bleeken Their interest is in defining simplifications of XForms 1.2, and they will coordinate with the Forms Joint Task Force members from the HTML WG as it seeks to map HTML forms onto XForms. 3) The request to transition XForms 1.0 Third Edition to Proposed Edited Recommendation has been sent. Chris Lilley agreed to be acting team contact for the transition meeting due to Steven's upcoming vacation. This was necessary due to my own vacation following Steven's, which would have produced an undue delay. It also makes sense since Chris, as domain lead, will also be chairing the transition meeting. 4) XForms 1.1 last call issue processing proceeds. 54 issues implemented as spec changes, 14 approved but awaiting implementation in the spec, 16 have proposed resolutions awaiting group approval, 3 are suspended due to being requests for features already in "future features" 5 are closed (not accepted) 24 are closed (in trash due to admin reasons) 46 are open and await consideration by the working group 2 have been sent back to the commenters for further feedback So, in total 100 issues are at or near completion, 16 are in an advanced state, and 50 are outstanding.
