Thanks Rick, I too should apologise. Earlier this week I spent several hours trying to work out what the API did, unsuccessfully. So my comments were grounded in that perspective, which I maintain is still a long way from acceptable as a specification or as an artifact that can be used to capture consensus. Still, I have been convinced by you (and others) that FPWD is necessary. FWIW, I really appreciate the work that has been done to improve the documentation of privacy issues, especially by Johann. We might not have made a whole lot of resolutions in the past little while, but the quality of the documentation of those issues is vastly better.
