Hello FedID enthusiasts! Our next FedCM-focused call is this Tuesday, 16 September 2025. The agenda is here: https://github.com/w3c-fedid/meetings/blob/main/2025/2025-09-16-FedCM-agenda.md Our main focus will be on whether and how to advance FedCM to a Candidate Recommendation. There is a lot of process involved at this step; see https://www.w3.org/policies/process/#transition-cr. We have marked several items as CR blockers; we'll be reviewing whether those are still the right blockers and if not, how we will respond to what's on the list. A couple of points to keep in mind: one, a CR is not the final recommendation. While it should be as close as possible, what's happening here is a stable spec for implementers and lawyers to check out. It will not advance past CR without multiple implementations (we've had a lot of conversations on when multiple implementations are required). See also https://www.w3.org/policies/process/#RecsCR for a complete definition of what a CR is. I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
