Hello FedID CG and WG members, but especially those of you planning on physically attending TPAC this year. Several of the groups participating at TPAC are asking their members about masking and other pandemic protocols. W3C guidelines for TPAC will be set soon. those will likely be much more relaxed than last year’s protocols. We may have the option of requiring masks in our own meeting room, but I have the impression that most everything else will merely be a suggestion. Please email Wendy and/or I directly with your concerns and requirements. We will keep your responses entirely confidential, but may privately ask you some follow-up questions. If we do not hear from you, we are going to assume you are fine with whatever: anything from current W3C protocol to no requirements at all. Questions: 1. Are you interested in travelling to in-person meetings at all at this point? If not, is there anything that could be done by the group or the W3C to change your mind? 2. Is masking in the meeting room a requirement for your participation? Or are in-room masking rules causing you to participate remotely? 3. Are masking rules or suggestions for the days and travel before the meeting a requirement for your participation, or do they inhibit your participation? 4. Do you have any suggestions for our protocols that we have not considered or should reconsider? Please respond by 16 July 2024. Thanks!
