Hi Santhanakrishnan, Yes, wildcard terms are supported in strict mode. The semantics for declared wildcard terms when strict is true are identical to the semantics when strict is false. They are described at the end of section 8.5.3.1.7 [1]. Hope this helps, John [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/exi/#wildcardTerms _____ From: public-exi-request@w3.org [mailto:public-exi-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of santhanakrishnan Sent: Friday, May 09, 2008 4:06 AM To: public-exi@w3.org Subject: [EXI] Handing of wildcard terms in strict mode Hi EXI Experts, If I have a schema with wildcard terms defined by any and anyattribute items, then is it possible to have strict mode encoding/decoding with the grammar derived from such a schema. Please clarify. Regards Santhanakrishnan
