AW: Canonical EXI - schemaId

Hi,

the "MAY" was used given that schemaId is optional.
Do you think we should change it to "MUST"?

I am bit unsure how we handle this situation best?

Hi,

Canonical EXI specification [1] in section 3 says:

"A canonical EXI Options document MUST respect the following constraints."

Then, the 4th constraint is:

"4. The element schemaId MAY be used to identify the schema information used for processing the EXI body."

It is using "MAY", therefore, it does not sound like a constraint.
