We just respond when someone wants a copy of it. About SKOS: It certainly has grown since I last looked at it. I'm surprised the altSymbol has foaf:Image as range. The Image class in http://purl.org/dc/dcmitype/ seems more appropiate. After all, Dublin Core elements are more likely to be known by thesauri developers than FOAF. There are other references to FOAF. To me FOAF is not a useful way to refer to person information. It lacks a class for OrganizationalRole (allthough Agent could be abused for that), and persons can't have affiliation, post-in-organization, telephone, postal address or jobtitle. In addition, FOAF seems rather unstable as a specification to rely on. -- Sincerely yours / Med venlig hilsen, Søren Roug <soren.roug@eea.eu.int> European Environment Agency, Kongens Nytorv 6, DK-1050 Copenhagen K Tel: +45 3336 7212 Fax: +45 3336 7199 Jabber: roug@jabber.eionet.eu.int || -----Original Message----- || From: Miles, AJ (Alistair) [mailto:A.J.Miles@rl.ac.uk] || Sent: Monday, June 06, 2005 5:50 PM || To: Søren Roug || Subject: SKOS public working drafts || || Hi Soren, || || It was good to finally meet you in Amsterdam :) I remember || you said you weren't working directly on GEMET in SKOS any || more (is that right ?), but anyway I'd like to ask you if || you have any comments or suggestions regarding the recently || published first public working draft editions of the SKOS || Core Guide [1], Quick Guide to Publishing a Thesaurus on the || Semantic Web [2] and SKOS Core Vocabulary Specification [3] || || It would be great if you could send any comments before June || 30th.
