Hi Phil, A question this raises - is there sufficient interest in the topic to > sustain a Community Group? > We started a community group around development linked data some time ago: http://www.w3.org/community/dld/ The goal was initially to discuss what is needed to setup a LOD cloud about data related to development, such as the IATI data, but the group has been really quiet so far. If there is interest for it, we could extend/refocus that group to discuss open (linked) data initiatives in developing countries. There is also already an open development group at the open knowledge foundation that is investigating related topics: http://open-development.okfn.org/ Cheers, Christophe -- Onderzoeker +31(0)6 14576494 christophe.gueret@dans.knaw.nl *Data Archiving and Networked Services (DANS)* DANS bevordert duurzame toegang tot digitale onderzoeksgegevens.
