Sometimes they are expanded the first time, probably not all. This could be done for all. I don't think expanding them every time they appear on text is useful, I think it'd be too verbose. Explaining what it is the first time may be helpful, but I think we should not go in much detail on what e.g. XML is in this document. Maybe a sentence or two would be OK, then pointer to more info. Pointers are already there though. -- Jose
