Addendum... In light of recent messages sent by Chris Beer and Mary McCaffery related to the initiatives in Australia and USA [2], I'll add an agendum to discuss about the role of the IG. Remember that we, as a group, commented on the brainstorming phase of the US Open Government Initiative [3] and also commented on a CEN draft paper [4] before. We might want to do the same again, but would need someone to take a leadership role to compile comments and have them going through the group to see if we have enough consensus to send them as an IG comment. I see deadline for commenting on the Australian document is Dec 17th but cannot find one for the data.gov one. I'm not adding the UK one, since I'm not sure if it's open for comments (John?).
