Hey, at the F2F in August we came up with a resolution to have just one delete-inputType and using the data attribute to specify the direction (backward/forward) in the input events spec [1]: "RESOLUTION: one delete event with data for forward/backward" [2] Now this question has come up again, in the context of the need of a way to delete a word and a line [3]. All those who have expressed their opinion so far seem to agree that it would be best to have editing intentions such as: deleteForward deleteBackward deleteWordForward deleteWordBackward deleteLineForward deleteLineBackward and then not use the data attribute. Is everyone ok with reverting the resolution from August?
