This sounds like one of these overarching discussions that was supposed to be put in perspective by the profile guidance, as @agreiner says. The DCAT space has made a choice of strict conformance so far, and I am ok with it. But perhaps we can keep the issue in the DCAT backlog, in case some feedback comes? In fact at a stage where DCAT has been wonderfully progressed since the beginning of this issue, maybe we could put an issue note calling for feedback from implementers? (and a process point: even though it points to profile guidance, related to yesterday's discussion about cleaning up our github space... I still consider this issue here to be specifically about DCAT. So maybe we keep it in the DCAT github repo but label it with 'profile-guidance') -- GitHub Notification of comment by aisaac Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/430#issuecomment-784919449 using your GitHub account -- Sent via github-notify-ml as configured in https://github.com/w3c/github-notify-ml-config
