RE: ALERT! Time for final DCAT review

I have reviewed the document at https://w3c.github.io/dxwg/dcat/. I have no comments or concerns and am happy for this to go through.

Subject: ALERT! Time for final DCAT review

All,

By September 24 we need a final working group decision on putting the DCAT work to Candidate Recommendation. There will be a poll to vote on this, which we will announce in the near future.

All WG members MUST review the document [1]. If you have comments or concerns please raise those IMMEDIATELY as the time now is very short for meeting the absolute deadline for this to become a Recommendation.

The DCAT group has done the necessary work to meet its deadline. Next you will see a summary from David Browning on the changes you will encounter in the draft, and the disposition of features that are not included in this publication. It is assumed that there will be ongoing maintenance and enhancement of DCAT under W3C's new "evergreen" process that allows for continuing work on standards.

Note that although the editors will undoubtedly appreciate notice of minor editorial errors, those do not put the move to CR at risk and can be fixed later.
