@kcoyle > "conforms to" and "profile of" mean. What happens when I have one profile with A, B, and C properties, and profile of that profile that has properties A, B, C, D, E? This is the case with the DCAT-AP variations that I have seen. From what I know of DCAT-AP and 'extensions' like national DCAT profiles, those 'extensions' are not presented as profiles of DCAT-AP, but rather as profiles of DCAT that are compatible with DCAT-AP. See the rules established for such extensions: https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/release/dcat-ap-how-extend-dcat-ap. I would say that those profiles are '_compatible with_' rather than '_profiles of_' DCAT-AP. -- GitHub Notification of comment by makxdekkers Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/844#issuecomment-529311917 using your GitHub account
