I think some explanations and examples would help users in a deeper understanding. Can we consider to add the following items to the document? - An example of dcat:landingPage for catalog - An example/ note/ whatever suggesting that the use of foaf:homepage requires some extra care, in particular, 1. foaf:homepage must not be used as a replacement for dcat:landingPage; 2. Reasoning will consider catalog descriptions having the same foaf: homePage as referring to the same real entity. That implies that different releases of the same catalog might collapse if they are pointing to the same foaf:homePage. Depending on the context this kind of collapsing can be desirable or undesirable. If it is undesirable use dcat:landingPage instead of foaf:homepage. I am willing in drafting a proposal by extending the [ basic example](https://w3c.github.io/dxwg/dcat/#basic-example) if the group thinks this can close the issue. -- GitHub Notification of comment by riccardoAlbertoni Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/352#issuecomment-431072538 using your GitHub account
