@agreiner This is why I like the idea of something with semantics like "isBasedOn". Basing on a profile or vocabulary may not equal conformance to that profile/vocabulary, especially in fairly heterogeneous environments. The only other option I see is to say that such "based on" profiles are not really profiles, and that the definition of a profile requires conformance to one or more parents.
