nicholascar has just created a new issue for https://github.com/w3c/dxwg: == Anonymous Profiles == ## INCOMPLETE - still being articulated Status: proposed Identifier: Creator: Nicholas Car Deliverable(s): AP Guidelines, Content Negotiation ## Stakeholders data consumer, data producer, data publisher, program ## Problem statement In the minimal case of RDF publication, a URI may resolve to a series of triples that do not indicate a Profile or indicate only something generic that is not helpful, such as `rdfs:Class`. In such circumstances, what is it useful to say about the profile in action? Is it an 'RDF Profile'? This seems inappropriate given that the URI might deliver HTML as well as RDF and thus an 'RDF Profile' seems confusing. ## Existing approaches None that we are aware of - this is a new RDF publication background issue that is emerging only now that we are defining 'Profile' as an axis of resource classification. ## Related use cases * [Web browser navigation of profile information](https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/239) * all other Profile Neg UCs Please view or discuss this issue at https://github.com/w3c/dxwg/issues/306 using your GitHub account
