@dr-shorthair there's no crucial adverse consequence indeed. But it adds one class to the DCAT mix, it diverts attention to what really matters (i.e. which parts of PROV to re-use besides prov:Entity) and it doesn't bring anything clear to meeting the requirements. So for the moment it looks like some dead weight we'd put in DCAT. A small one I reckon, but still some dead weight.
