Dear Advisory Committee Representative,
Chairs,

The Director is pleased to announce the approval of the Dataset Exchange
Working Group charter:

   http://www.w3.org/2017/dxwg/charter

This group is chartered until 30 June 2019.

The mission of the Dataset Exchange Working Group is to:

1. Revise the Data Catalog Vocabulary, DCAT, taking account of related
vocabularies and the extensive work done in developing a number of its
application profiles.

2. Define and publish guidance on the use of application profiles when
requesting and serving data on the Web.

instruct you how to nominate participants:

The Working Group co-chairs are Caroline Burle (NIC.br) and Karen Coyle
(Dublin Core Metadata Initiative). Team contact is Phil Archer (0.2FTE)
supported by the EU-funded VRE4EIC project (https://www.vre4eic.eu/).

Please note that the Working Group expects to hold its first face to
face meeting *17-18 July* at the University of Oxford.
