W3C dxwg Use Cases

Hi all,

I'm Ixchel Faniel, one of the co-editors of the Use Case document.

As a reminder from our last two meetings about the use cases, the Use Case Editors would like you to re-examine the use cases you wrote to:

  1. Ensure that the use cases are following the template the dxwg agreed to follow. The template is included in the Use Case Working Space.
  2. Pay special attention to the problem statement and be sure to include the stakeholders (i.e. who/what are experiencing the problem you have described). If you have used the term "user" to describe the stakeholders as part of your written descriptions, please clarify and be as specific as possible - e.g. data producer, data consumer, data publisher, program, etc.

With these changes, it is our hope that all dxwg members will have a clearer understanding of your proposed use cases and be ready to engage in discussion.

In the coming days, I will be sending action items via Tracker to all use case authors to take another look at their use cases in preparation for our weekly meetings.

Any questions/concerns, let us know.

Thanks
ixchel
