Hi, During the meeting in Zagreb, last week, I was asked for and more information about the International Open Data Conference <http://opendatacon.org>, to be held in Madrid, on 6-7 October. Someone of you already sent some contributions. Anyone can propose new topics and sessions to discuss during the event. The Call for Proposals is open until *3rd April*, so two weeks from now. To clarify, there are three different tracks: - *Call for Impact*: inspiring open-data-driven initiatives. Impact Sessions will be panels to present lightning (5-8') talks with 'Impact Stories' about specific open data topics. Stories must have a clear impact to be presented in this track. - *Call for Sharing*: collaborative learning, Skills, and Good Practice. These Sharing Sessions are interactive and engaging thematic spaces to have in-depth engagement with peers. Sharing sessions seek to allow interest groups or thematic communities to gather together in order to discuss specific topics to solve challenges, collect best practices and learn from others. Each of these sessions will have between 1 and 2 hours reserved. - *Call for Action*. Submissions will help produce a revised version of the community-led IODC roadmap, which will include updated priorities, commitments and required collaborative actions. See more about about this roadmap <http://opendatacon.org/iodc16/call-for-proposals/call-for-action/?lang=en> . I think that both, Share PSI and the W3C DWBP groups should propose, at least, a 'sharing' session to continue discussing the work done. Also, all of you (as individuals or on behalf of your organization) have a lot of things to present there. It takes just 5' through a simple form. Please, have into account that if you have budget restrictions to travel, you can ask for some funds to cover these expenses (in the form). All the info, and the submission form at: http://opendatacon.org/iodc16/call-for-proposals/ Let me know if you have any doubt. Also if you plan to attend and/or if you volunteer to send the proposal.
