Hi, The DCAT-AP group are discussing how to represent the grouping of datasets, and in particular time-series data: https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/asset/dcat_application_profile/issue/mo12-grouping-datasets Looking through the DQV doc, there is the suggestion to consider a revision of DCAT to make dcat:Dataset <http://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-dcat/#Class:_Dataset> and dcat:Distribution <http://www.w3.org/TR/vocab-dcat/#Class:_Distribution> subclasses of prov:Entity <http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/vocab-dqg.html#> (Issue 6), opening up properties such as prov:wasDerivedFrom, prov:wasAttributedTo and prov:wasGeneratedBy. While time-series data isn't necessarily related to quality, I was wondering if linking DCAT directly to PROV could also address the issue of how to represent time-series data? Is this something that could be described using PROV? Just a thought :) Deirdre <http://w3c.github.io/dwbp/vocab-dqg.html#> -------------------------------------- Deirdre Lee, Director Derilinx - Linked & Open Data Solutions Web: www.derilinx.com Email: deirdre@derilinx.com Tel: +353 (0)1 254 4316 Mob: +353 (0)87 417 2318 Linkedin: ie.linkedin.com/in/leedeirdre/ Twitter: @deirdrelee
