Hi Peter, Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation as well as the BP evaluation and the references that you brought to us in the document. I think we can use this information in our DWBP document. I liked the explanation about the meaning of a BP, however IMO the creation process of our BP is different from the one explained in the doc. In our case, BP were proposed to solve problems/challenges faced by data on the Web publishers and consumers as described in the Use Case Requirements document [1]. Considering that data on the Web is a new area, then it is hard to find "procedures that are accepted or prescribed as being correct or most effective". So, our idea is to propose a new set of procedures (based on our experiences as well as on the use cases from [1]) that will be properly tested in different scenarios. The recommended BP should be the ones "that has been proven to work well and produce good results". Concerning the three missing areas that you pointed out in the document: (i) Forces or trade-offs, (ii) Resulting Context or Projected Outcome and (iii) Participants or Related Patterns, I think it's gonna be easier to identify (i) and (ii) after we have some running implementations. The third point is also really interesting and IMO is something that is possible to identify without implementations. So, we're gonna try to include this relationship between BP into the next draft of the document.
