Hi Steve I think that suggestion is absolutely spot-on! I think that cookery recipe cards is the sort of model we should be following; it not only helps the implementers, but the format is terse and appropriate for managers who need a checklist of items together with some simple illustration (like the photo of the Victoria sponge on the recipe card) so that they recognise the work item when they see it. OK, I’m the new kid on the block. How in the context of the DWBP group do we get this done? I've just breezed through the document you enclosed and it reads like a technical implementation guide, which is totally appropriate for a technical specification like DCAT-AP. But I wonder if we could have a look at the 26 use cases DWBP collected at the start of our working group collaboration and develop some narrative examples that explain how those use cases might be different with DCAT-AP? Maybe we could pick 3-5 of the 26 and write them out in a cookbook recipe format that helps readers understand how DCAT-AP will make their implementations better. What do you think? We (Pascal & collabs) will need to get it updated following the DCAT-AP review, but we are trying to get illustrations embedded into this guide to help people with implementation. Perhaps this DWBP group can help provide more illustrations … and also help us get the implementation guide to a wider audience at the appropriate time. It is well written, concise, and well structured. But it reads more like a glossary of terms than a description of how a standard works, can be used, and implemented. I wish the paper offered living examples of how DCAT-AP would work in real life - to give readers themselves more context about the standard and its impact on data. Thanks for sharing Makx!
