Assessor View Publications Using DPV 2.0

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to share that our project Assessor View, which uses DPV 2.0, has recently led to two accepted publications. Assessor View is a static analysis-based tool that helps make privacy-relevant aspects of Android source code more accessible to both developers and privacy professionals using DPV2.0, supporting GDPR-oriented assessments and documentation.

The initial study has been accepted to the Automated Software Engineering journal (accepted version here<https://mugdhak30.github.io/assets/Preprints/ASEJ_AssessorView.pdf>). We also conducted a short follow-up study on the RoPA extension we introduced in Assessor View. This has been accepted as a tool demonstration paper at the IEEE International Conference on Software Analysis, Evolution and Reengineering (SANER) (accepted version here<https://mugdhak30.github.io/assets/Preprints/RoPA_SANER2026.pdf>). You can find a tool demonstration video here<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rVwJDHLj7Pw&t=1s>.

We are grateful to the DPV community for the ongoing development of the vocabulary, which has been vital in enabling this work. We look forward to building sophisticated tooling upon DPV and contributing further insights from our research.

Regards,

Mugdha
