Hi Georg. Thank you for the proposal. Below are my comments per concept from your submitted spreadsheets. ## Biometric concepts: 1) Fingerprint - exists 2) DNA - exists as pd:DNACode 3) Iris - doesn't exist, should be added as pd:Iris 4) Retinal - exists as pd:Retina 5) Facial - exists as pd:FacialPrint 6) Hand - doesn't exist, could be added as pd:Hand or pd:HandGeometr 7) Vein - doesn't exist, could be added as pd:VeinPattern 8) Voice - doesn't exist, should be added as pd:Voice 9) Gait - doesn't exist, should be added as pd:Gait 10) BiometricVerification - exists in eu-aiact:BiometricVerification, should be extended from dpv:BiometricVerification as the child concept of existing dpv:IdentityVerification (note dpv:BiometricAuthentication is a tech measure) 11) BiometricAuthentication - exists, see above 12) LivenessDetection - this should be added as a technical measure and not a purpose, and the description should focus on what it is detecting (ensuring captured biometrics are from a real person) and not on what it is preventing 13) Selfie Verification - this should instead be added as pd:Selfie under the existing pd:FacePrint and then used with LivenessDetection to indicate selfie verification ## Political concepts: 1) PublicPoliticalParticipation: Political opinions expressed through public participation and activism 2) PoliticalCommunication/Expression: Political opinions expressed through written and verbal communication 3) PoliticalSurveillanceData: Data collected specifically for monitoring or surveilling political activities We already have pd:PoliticalOpinion and pd:PoliticalAffiliation. I don't think a further category showing where this is derived from should be necessary. I therefore propose PoliticalActivity as the concept to represent activities that are political in nature or indicate a particular opinion or affiliation regarding politics. I do not think Political Surveillance Data should be a concept without a strict and normative definition, which I cannot find.
