Hello all,

We are a group of researchers from the Secure Software Engineering lab<https://www.hni.uni-paderborn.de/sse> at Paderborn University (Germany), working on understanding GDPR compliance, privacy assessments, and data privacy vocabulary.

We invite privacy experts, legal experts, and Data Protection Officers to participate in a user study on Assessor View, a tool that automatically visualizes an Android app in data privacy vocabulary. Participation is voluntary. Participants can withdraw at any time.

Information about the user study:

  * We will conduct the study on Zoom, no camera required.

  * We will conduct a short interview about the current state of privacy assessments and GDPR compliance.

  * We will assign some privacy-specific tasks and ask follow-up questions about Assessor view.

  * Participants will complete a questionnaire.

  * The study will be conducted from 14th May to 13th June (please choose convenient time slots using the registration link)

  * This is the second round of our study — if you participated in the first round, kindly refrain from registering again.

The study will take approximately 45 to 60 minutes. Please read the privacy policy<https://www.hni.uni-paderborn.de/fileadmin-hni/sse/lehre/Data_Policy_AssessorView.pdf> for this study which was approved by the Data protection office<https://www.uni-paderborn.de/en/university/data-protection> of Paderborn University. Please note that this study has been approved by the DPO <https://www.uni-paderborn.de/en/privacy-policy> and Ethics Committee<https://www.uni-paderborn.de/en/university/ethics-committee> (ERB) of the University of Paderborn.

Given your expertise and contributions to DPV, we believe your insights would be particularly valuable to this research. Please register for the study here: https://umfragen.uni-paderborn.de/index.php/166923?lang=en
