Hello All. We have a proposed charter ready for voting / approval. The charter is a document that defines the scope and extent of the DPVCG's work, as well as what deliverables and outputs we aim to achieve. It also describes the functioning of the group in terms of participation and administrative processes. Please find the document here: https://w3id.org/dpv/charter **Please indicate your approval / comments by JAN-11**. This should be via Github issue https://github.com/w3c/dpv/issues/399 (e.g. using thumbs up or leaving a comment). Note: the github account should be linked to your W3C account in order for it to represent your participation -- you can view this here: https://www.w3.org/groups/cg/dpvcg/participants/ If you do not have a Github account, you can also post your vote on the public mailing list. All votes MUST be public to be included. The counting of votes and a decision will be made in the next meeting after JAN-11, tentatively scheduled for JAN-14. If the outcome of the voting process is conclusive of approval, the charter will be in effect. The process for counting and approval is defined in the document. For clarity, at least 2/3rd or ~66% of the votes cast must indicate agreement/approval. While this means not everyone is required to vote, I encourage and request all DPVCG members to show their support and continued involvement by participating in this process. We have created this document using the W3C provided template for Charters, and have edited it to reflect both the existing content listed on DPVCG homepage as well as the work as it has progressed. Approval of the Charter means it will become binding on us as a group. The procedure for future updates is defined in the document. Practically, I do not expect there to be substantial changes needed if we accept the Charter as we already have implemented it in spirit. As Chairs, Harsh and Beatriz -- --- Harshvardhan J.
