Hi. In the previous meeting [1], we agreed to move towards a "DPV v1" release indicating (some opionated) maturity and usefulness of the work. For this, we invite comments, feedbacks, and suggestions. It can be via (this) mailing list or GitHub https://github.com/w3c/dpv/issues/50 We have set the date for resolving feedback as OCT-15. After this date, we will publish the release as a v1 unless we find something important missing, a major issue is unresolved, or any other action preventing the release. To help with this, I have collated the changes till the last meeting (SEP-07) and updated DPV with them (as v0.8.1 https://github.com/w3c/dpv/releases/tag/dpv-0.8.1). This includes affiliation changes and funding acknowledgements. One important limitation we are aware of is the documentation - which we intend to keep working on while waiting for comments and feedback. See earlier emails about: Primer, Use-Cases, Examples, and Guides. If you would like to volunteer to assist (or lead) with any of these, please get in touch.
