Outline of DPV presentation at SEMANTiCS

Hi. Below is the outline for DPV's presentation at SEMANTiCS Industry 
track [1] on SEP-14 10:30. Suggestions/Feedback welcome. I will be 
creating slides on these later in the week. Note the audience is 
expected to be stakeholders from industry.

- Slide #0: Introduction, Title, Contact Info

- *What is DPV* (3mins)
- Slide #1: boxy diagram of laws --> requirements --> implementation -->
   compliance --> documentation for how laws create information
   requirements which must be implemented within technical systems and
   organisational processes which must be assessed and ensured for
   compliance and must be documented through records to be able to
   demonstrate (e.g. ROPA, consent)
- Slide #2: word cloud of DPV concepts - explaining how requirements,
   whether legal or otherwise, require a 'vocabulary of terms' to talk
   about and use information. For example, a legal basis, personal data,
   purpose.
- Slide #3: history timeline starting with SPECIAL project, creation of
   DPVCG, first DPV release to current DPV release

- *DPV Concepts* (5mins)
- Slide #4: DPV core concepts
- Slide #6: Purposes as a taxonomy extended from core concept (one
   example of what DPV provides as hierarchies)
- Slide #7: Contextual info, status, scale, duration, frequency - to
   show how DPV enables keeping track of what is going on regarding data
   processing
- Slide #8: Risk concepts, with Risk extension risk extension providing
   additional ones such as consequences, risk levels, risk matrix, etc.

- *DPV Applications* (9mins)
- Slide #9: ROPA usecase i.e. spreadsheet --> semantic service
- Slide#10: Consent Record use-case i.e. maintain consent records
- Slide#11: Legal KG of processing activities: DIY using DPV
- Slide#12: Rule-based compliance checking (example of DPV use to create
   rules to check for compliance)
- Slide#13: Pan-Jurisdictional KG
- Slide#14: Policy matching e.g. preference matching using semantics -
   relevant for health data sharing between patient and hospital and
   requestor
