If you can't complete your assignment, or you think you got the wrong
section, please let us know and we can swap things around. If you
have a particular expertise we can shuffle. To the best of my
knowledge none of us is particularly a Silverlight, Flash, or SMIL
experts, so I assigned those out rather randomly.

Explanation:

We seem to be having trouble getting everybody in on the phone calls,
and although I'm sure we will eventually manage, our deadlines are
rapidly approaching. We'd like to just get started on the work. To
that end, we are going ahead and creating homework assignments.
George, Charles, and Liam have already begun the work by going through
89 of the general techniques. If we focus on WCAG alone, the nine of
us only have about 40 techniques each to get through.

I'm assigning a section of the spreadsheet to each of us, and we would
like to get through them all by Friday, 30 January. Charles and I will
still be available on the Tuesday and Friday phone calls if anyone has
any questions, or just wants to work with other people. In fact,
George, Charles, and Liam found that going through them together was
very fast and efficient, so if you just want to pair up with a
spreadsheet buddy, write to the list and see who is interested.

This should be a relatively quick task. All we are doing is going
through a list of all of the WCAG techniques, and marking if they are
relevant for digital publishing. You can see an example of the work
that's already begun at:
