Re: Information on epublishing

Hello everyone,
Yes as George referred to the link
View the EPUB 3 Support Grid (all results) <http://www.epubtest.org/results/> http://www.epubtest.org/results/ <http://www.epubtest.org/results/>
has just about all the major players of accessible ePub3 readers.

As far as Benetech is concerned our take is:
IBM currently uses Lucifox, which is a Firefox plugin. (We have not used it.)
IDEAL group has a beta android reader:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.easyaccess.epubreader&hl=en <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.easyaccess.epubreader&hl=en>

iBooks is increasingly accessible
Gitden for android is also supposed to be accessible, but I've heard mixed results:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gitden.epub.reader.app&hl=en <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gitden.epub.reader.app&hl=en>

We think Readium will be the big win as it gets more traction so I would also watch that space.

Thanks

Can you give me the names of some accessible, free epub readers that I can recommend to my client? There are quite a few clients here with similar questions who are hoping that epub3 will be an answer to providing the reports in an accessible format, seeing that it is based on HTML 5 and there is good accessibility support (of course, if it created properly).
