Thanks again for your comments on the DISelect Last call.
In your response to the disposition of comments for Gilman-11 [1], you had reservations about the disposition.
You pointed out, quite correctly, that we had failed to correct the impression that DISelect could never be subsumed within the namespace of the host language.
The DIWG agrees with your description of the remaining issue, and your resolution. The terminology has been changed. The passage in the section on namespaces now reads:
"DISelect is not a stand-alone document type. It is intended to be integrated into other host languages such as XHTML. Such integration could result in the elements and attributes described in this specification being subsumed into the host language namespace. Alternatively, it might result in the elements and attributes being added to a host language, but in a separate namespace. The DISelect namespace is provided for this purpose."
I hope you feel that the new text is appropriate. Perhaps you would be able to confirm that by posting to the list?
