Greetings Al, thanks for your comments on the content selection last call [1]. As part of this you include "Exception handling" which we have split into two parts. This response deals with the part that begins: "The wording in this section is IMHO non-standard and should be regularized. " The second part was addressed in the attached note. The DIWG assigned this comment the identifier Gilman-16. This mail documents DIWG's response to your comments. DIWG Response ============= We have not accepted this part of the comments, the exception handling model and terminology is meant to be completely consistent with that of XForms. For reasons of consistency, DIWG has chosen to retain that terminology. However there are typographic errors in this section which we will address in Gilman-17. As part of this you include "Exception handling" which we have split into two parts. This response deals with the part that states: "The nouns in the <dl> explanation of the categories *must* be aligned with the suffixes used in the event names. Also the prose in the paragraphs. In the current prose there are two concepts used (failure and error in the above lexicon) and three ways that each is alluded to. Fix it." The DIWG assigned this comment the identifier Gilman-17. This mail documents DIWG's response to your comments. DIWG Response ============= We agree and have corrected the typographical errors. We now use the terms error and exception consistently throughout the document. Other changes in this area of the document are anticipated in order to address Gilman-10 and McCathieNevile-5.
