Relative to today’s discussion about the STEM survey and the analysis / interpretation of results, some of you might be interested in this blog entry about a user study now being conducted by the publishing arm of the American Mathematical Society. The author is the Associate Executive Director of Publishing at the AMS.

Sadly he doesn’t report out actual results from the AMS study yet, and historically the AMS (or at least Math Reviews) has at times  been a bit narrow about what they report out. We’ll have to wait and see in this instance.
