Rotation, Expiration and Revocation of verificationMethod keys in a DID document

Hi,

I couldn’t find information in the did core spec, nor references in past conversations within my reach (and nothing through search engines) about the above topic.

How do DID documents reflect the Rotation, Expiration or Revocation of a public key? I found this https://www.w3.org/TR/did-core/#did-document-metadata, but it seems to apply to the whole document rather than just a key.

Can anyone point me to resources on the subject?

Thanks
