Hi Kamran, Thanks for your question. WebUSB is a new API in development that is designed to solve your issue of exposing USB device services to the Web. (Media Capture API is for interfacing with camera hardware.) Reilly is able to provide you more information on WebUSB. It may be that the hardware manufacturer of your scanner needs to do a bit of work to expose your scanner to the Web.
