Hi All, Here's the usual "last two week in the DAS WG" status update: ---+ Generic Sensor API Level 2 issues cherry picked into Level 1 * #257 Synchronizing coordinate systems https://github.com/w3c/sensors/issues/257 The group has almost addressed issue #257 per the resolution from the 11 Jan 2018 WG call [1] by introducing a "local coordinate system" concept into the Generic Sensor API and adding the required hooks to the affected concrete sensors. Patches have landed to Generic Sensor API, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope: https://github.com/w3c/sensors/commit/67f96b18e31f7ae4b600fb414a654a406f8e71bc https://github.com/w3c/accelerometer/commit/182d910f1fbd83f2a5b03e5b9033235cfd02d2ae https://github.com/w3c/gyroscope/commit/885a8e27853a7a4b5a546d2a820a1ac940cff30d Orientation Sensor and Magnetometer patches will be submitted for review shortly. After also those changes have landed, the issue #257 is resolved. * #63 Sensor.frequency needs to be setable to allow frequency adaptation https://github.com/w3c/sensors/issues/63 I'm hearing this issue should be after all deferred to Level 2.
