Dom,  thank you for the kind words. 

I would  like to thank the  W3C and members of the working group for all their work over the years in progressing our deliverables and their support of my chairing. We've made a lot of progress, as you can see from the roadmap [1].  I also would like to thank Dom, both for his amazing technical and leadership contributions, and also on a personal level for his support.

I should also thank Robin Berjon for his co-chair efforts at the beginning, Tobie Langel for his vision to create the generic sensor API, and Anssi Kostiainen for his continued work in the group, especially his efforts to get the standards work aligned with implementations. I didn't mention everyone, but appreciate everyone's contributions over the years.

I am confident Anssi will lead this group forward toward success and wish him and the group the best.

I wouldn't be surprised if our paths cross again.
