This is a Call for Consensus to start a wide review [1] of the of Generic Sensor API [2] and the Ambient Light Specification [3], as discussed on the Devices and Sensor call on 2 May 2016 [4]5].

Please review the two specifications and note on the public list any changes needed before wide review.

If this CfC completes successfuly the editors will produce updated working drafts (WD) including any needed editorial or other updates and then I will send a request for review to other groups (see [4]).

Please respond by 27 May (2 weeks) noting any concerns, changes needed before publication, or support for starting a wide review (a +1 will do). Silence will be considered as agreement with starting wide review.

Thanks

regards, Frederick
